On the positive side, I knew the symptoms immediately this time and called the doctor for a refill on the meds. I paid Rs. 200 or $5.00 US for 5 prescriptions. Things seem to be under control this time and I should be ready for work tomorrow and more importantly not losing weight and tied to my room over the weekend "again".
Mike and I were Key Note speakers for a bank sponsored Lunch & Learn session yesterday and had a great time delivering the international message for the bank. Outside of our technical roles here, we really feel like ambassadors for the bank and are getting a kick out of India.
I hope co-workers reading my blog are picking that up and gaining a good insight into the challenges as well as the benefits of an assignment like this.
